Tastee Freez in Anchorage

The food is always hot and fresh. We ordered milk shakes most recently. I had Blackberry, the wife had hot cocoa. The Blackberry had real blackberries blend it in. The hot cocoa tasted just like hot chocolate with marshmallows. Definitely top three milkshakes in town!

Cool place! There's definitely an old school vibe here, especially with all the historic newspapers & pictures. The food was great too! I enjoyed the corn fritters with honey butter. They could've been cooked a bit longer, but still had great flavor!

I placed an order online and it said it would be ready at 748pm tonight. I finally walked out at 811pm with my food. Maybe they had a bad night but I feel that a 23 minute overage is unacceptable. The food was not exactly the best this time also. They might want to reevaluate their times on orders being ready. I would not recommend the chicken sandwich or the chicken wrap. The food in the past has been good but they had a swing and miss tonight.

Great attitude about safety, and flattening the curve. Good food decent price. Customers are asked to put on a mask or take a menu and call in the order if they don't want to wear it. They have some nice looking masks for a good price there as well.
